Where to start with our end-of-year update. We could write about the clients we’ve won or about the amazing work we’ve delivered from Ideal Home Show Scotland (and Christmas!); The Cake & Bake Show and being back at the scene of the Crimecon again this year (to name a few), but we’ve seen a lot of our fellow marketers, journalists, and creatives have a darn tough time of it.
As a not-for-profit, we have seen firsthand just how hard some of our charity partners have been working this year. A special shout out to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and the Glasgow Care Foundation – who continue to amaze and inspire.
Following the recent government budget announcement, we’re sending heartfelt wishes to our friends in the retail, housing, and hospitality sectors, amongst others. Because of this, we’ve had to be prudent like so many agencies, and if we hear Susie say one more time: “every penny is a prisoner” we will eat our Santa hats. But she is right. Our mission is to give all our profit to charity.
This means that in 2023 we have focused on consolidation and on exceeding our client’s expectations and to our delight they have all signed up for another year of dot + del-ing in 2024. So we are jingling our bells with joy!
So, as we lock the office door and head home to turn on the Christmas tree lights, we will be thankful for the kindness we have shared with our team, clients, and charity partners.
A well-earned rest to follow and a focus on new business announcements in 2024 to come….
Have a very merry Christmas from all of us at dot + del.
