Q1 2026: Full Steam Ahead at dot + del
April 9, 2026

It may be a new year, but our focus stays the same: communications that make an impact.
Q1 has been chock full of exciting events, taking us from Glasgow to London to Spain. Here’s a round-up of what we’ve been up to…
January: in with the new
After a much-needed Christmas break, we were back with a bang by kicking off our PR campaign for Ideal Home Show Scotland 2026. This year’s show is set to be a belter with a new VIP experience (featuring a makeover station by Charlotte Tilbury), celebrity guests including Banjo Bannon and Anna Campbell Jones and a new show section, the Money Village in partnership with MoneyMatiX and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Following the announcement of the 2026 Scottish Budget, we teamed up with Federation of Small Businesses Scotland (FSB) to create some educational content for business owners, featuring lots of brilliant small businesses. Check it out on our socials!
We also launched our new website and we’re a little bit in love. Shout out to Steven McCurragh for a flawless redesign.
February: politics + poses
It was time for a couple of quick schooners, so Hayley took a trip to Stuttgart to see Deftones while Sian jetted off on holiday to Berlin.
We were delighted to support Beatson Cancer Charity with launch of Yellow Yogis - coming to Glasgow SEC on Sunday 13th September. It aims to be the UK’s largest indoor yoga event and will be led by the Kilted Yogi (Finlay Wilson) and hosted by TV and radio personality Jenny Powell. We had lots of fun shooting Finlay’s graceful (and impressive!) poses at some of Glasgow’s most iconic landmarks for the announcement press release.
Hayley was invited by FSB to Holyrood for a reception with the Deputy First Minister, celebrating Scottish businesses. Safe to say she nailed the business attire / uniform dress code.
It was back into our glad rags for a private dinner to mark the opening of The Yard at Linn Park in Glasgow. We made sure the night ran smoothly, managing everything from invites to tech and capturing content.
We rounded off the month with a fun filming day at Myle Cars, getting to know the team better and finding out what happens behind-the-scenes. Photos with 20 taxi drivers in half an hour? No problem!
March: craic + creativity
It was back supporting the Global Entertainment Awards, but instead of Portugal, Hayley and Susie made their way to Spain. It was an incredible weekend celebrating the best in entertainment marketing across cinema, games, television, and streaming with some of the best creatives from across the globe.
Team dot +del spent Saint Patrick’s week in Soho for Hibernia at Century Club – a 4-day celebration showcasing the best of modern Irish creativity. The celebrations included a London Irish Business Society talk featuring producer Ed Guiney and Big Issue Editor Paul McNamee; a fantastic short film showcase by Irish Film and TV UK and lots of great music.
We secured and managed a primetime interview on the BBC Radio London Breakfast show, packing the studio with musicians for a demo of traditional Irish instruments. Great craic was had by all!
Looking ahead: what’s on the radar?
Q1 has set the tone for an exciting year, and we can't wait to see what the rest of 2026 has in store. With less than a month to go until Ideal Home Show Scotland 2026 things are ramping up.
